Summer, Swimming, and Itchy Skin Headed out to the pool? Don’t let your eczema (or your child’s) get in the way of some summer fun! Here are some helpful tips adapted from the National Eczema Association to consider before hopping in and out of the water!
- Eczema is a condition that varies depending on the individual, and therefore reactions to different conditions, such as water temperature and chlorine level, may differ. Through trial and error you can determine what works best for your skin, but these tips are a good place to start to help care for your summer skin.

- Apply sunscreen 30 minutes after using moisturizing cream so that the sunscreen may work to its full capacity without interference from the cream.
